I'm so glad to see a review of this, Candace. I liked Ruby Red, _a href="http://xvivusiip.com"_esalicpley_/a_ the time travel parts and the genetic mystery, etc., but to me it didn't read smoothly. I think it may be because it is translated from the German.I'm not sure if anyone else felt this way, but for some reason it just felt ...off. But I did LOVE some of the characters. I thought Gwen showed real promise and I loved Lesley, what an awesome BFF! I held Gideon at arms length. I didn't trust him. I was hoping things might improve in that department in Book #2. Your review has gotten me all excited to read this, because it has been a long time since Ruby Red!
